Finally, Sabrina Lavieri was awarded the Women’s Racing Team Outstanding Oarswoman award titled this year for her as, “Any Seat, Any Time, Anywhere”. This year Sabrina was out on the water for countless hours. Whether out with a buddy in her single, team practice, helping out with FVRA Intermediate or Learn-to-Row programs, as part of a Masters Rowing line-up in USRowing Masters Nationals or coxing Head of the Charles for Cape Cod Rowing. She helped promote the joy of rowing to our program participants and beyond, and worked on continuing to develop her own technique both on and off the water. Congratulations Sabrina!

The Outstanding Oarswoman award is given to a women’s racing team member who exemplifies good sports(wo)menship and sets a positive example for other club members through their actions and participation. This award was started in 2017 and was previously awarded to Janice Wingo (2018) for her dedication to club support and Sara Richman (2017) for her dedication to improvement in sculling.

If you have any questions about what was discussed at this year’s fall meeting please email info@fvra.org. We look forward to seeing everyone for Winter Training @ Trinity in January! Have a wonderful holiday season!
